Wilbacher: Högmo played for high stakes – Expressen

The Norwegian coach Per-Mathias Högmo played for high stakes Hungary tonight.

But it was the Norwegians says, dressed in the sink. Instead triumphed in Hungary and became the first team to reach the European Championship in France via the playoffs.

Despite loss the first meeting was a Norwegian national team filled with confidence that traveled to Hungary. The Norwegians had played well but by the football experts called the “end product” had not worked. Posts decisive passes and finish was of poor quality.

The discussions among fans and journalists who would be allowed to start in the Norwegian attack in the return went hot and in the end, everyone seemed to agree that the Power of goods steak mor striker Marcus Pedersen would take the Norwegian Spiss role.

Per-Mathias Högmo shocked but everyone. 16-year-old Martin Ødegaard had admittedly confidence but at the front of the Norwegian attack echoed the plot. Högmo made a small revolution in the starting line-up. Out with centimeters and muscles, into the fast, technical feet.

The result? Destroyed.

Instead va is the Hungarian-combed German coach Bernd Storck who went victorious from the duel coach and with a knockout. His trump card was called Laszlo Kleinheisler, a 21-year Doldis that kept to the Hungarian third division in autumn. Storck had had him in the Hungarian U21 national team before and after that never let his eyes from the young midfielder. Kleinheislers 1-0 goal at Ullevaal three days put Hungary in the driver’s seat and allowed them to play their games at home, without ever having to hasty.

Norway was uddlöst, they created really nothing in the first half, and it was clear that Högmo had failed in their moves. The long uppspelen from the defensive line caught swimmingly up of a single Hungarian defense.

The brilliance in the first half was rather Tamas Priskin for. He received the ball in the penalty area, turned up and pried neat ball into the far corner behind a matchless Örjan Uusimaa.

Even though it was early in the game so it really felt like it was au revoir France Norway back then.

In the second half did Högmo about, and right. Pedersen came in and immediately became Norway dangerous.

However, it was too late. Hungary had built an unshakable confidence and score big playing 39-year-old Gabor Kiraly.

You know how it often is with the team in the wind; mostly fall as well as on location. The famed margins are on one side. The nyinbytte, kralliga Hungarian striker Daniel Bode knocked a shot that unfortunate took on Markus Henriksen and the ball found the ingloriously into the goal.

Henriksen had admittedly some revenge but his reduction came too late. Hungary won just 2-1 and can now start planning for a championship – the first since the 1986 World Cup.

For our neighbor, it will be a tough awakening today. You will see that dream resistance, as it was painted before, the classes better. And that win over Croatia for a couple of months ago was apparently worth nothing.

Late night the information from the Norwegian Football Federation to Per-Mathias Högmo securely.

How long remains to be seen. Norwegian football, and The Pride, expecting a tough time.
