Vermlander Göran Hägglund stopped from taking seats on the board for new premier division football team Jönköping Södra.
Earlier this fall presented the former KD-conductor and Social Affairs Minister as a future board member. But now it turns out that he can not be elected, because he has been a member of the club for three months, which statutes require.
“This is a mistake that completely falls back on the nominating committee,” writes Jönköping Södra’s website.
Mr Hägglund itself also regret it.
– I think it’s boring. I had been looking forward to this task and think it would have been great to be on the board. Especially at this early stage that the club now finds itself in, says Hägglund Jönköpings-Posten.
Mr Hägglund has roots in Degerfors, but live a long time in Jonkoping.
