A 28-year-old man has admitted that he murdered Balykina but said he did not remember where he hid the body. An area of 30 square kilometers finkammades before Balykina found in a forest outside Minsk.
Balykina were multiple Belarusian champion and she ran 100 meters and short relay at the London Olympics. She was suspended in 2013 for doping for two years and has subsequently worked as a youth coach.
