Tyson Fury is the new heavyweight champion in boxing. British defeated Volodymyr Klytjko on points in Duesseldorf and thus took over the five belts as Ukrainian had before the game.
– I want to thank Jesus. I came to Germany and was against a great champion. Jesus gave me the prize, said Fury.
Klytjko, who have not lost since April 2004 and was very passive throughout the match. Fury invited on the other hand not to very much and it was not until the ninth round in which the game sparked into properly.
In the eleventh round, got Fury points deducted for blows to the neck, but it did not matter. All three judges had Tyson Fury as winner and when the result was proclaimed knew jubilation in his ring corner no bounds.
– We have worked so incredibly hard for this. This victory is for my uncle, he believed in me all the time, Fury said with tears in his eyes and then burst out in a song to salute their fans.
