Three Norwegians pinched Call on podium – Aftonbladet

Lillehammer. Charlotte Kalla podium with four tenths.

Then there was a new Norwegian triple.

– It was hell, she says.

Charlotte Kalla went out already in the quarter-finals of the sprint yesterday. But the 5-kilometer freestyle she was involved in fighting for a podium finish.

But there was a fourth place – just four tenths from the podium.

– It was hell. I would have been on the podium today, says source that had a better feeling than yesterday.

– It was alright. It responded better at skiing today.

Heidi Weng had Known times to go on and took third place.



Joahug won

Therese Johaug won the race, just three tenths before Marit Björgen.

– Norwegians are in very good shape. They go very well, says Kalla who was eleven seconds after Johaug.

Ida Ingemarsdotter missed the sprint finals yesterday but can nevertheless be satisfied with its season premiere. Sprint specialist did one of his best distance race and finished in a fine ninth place, 32 seconds after Johaug.

– There was happier faces today. But it was a lactic acid party, she says.

Emma Wikén was third best Swedish on-site 22nd
