The setback: Andreasen knife damaged – surgery – Expressen

Denmark has suffered a heavy setback for the playoff matches.

Leon Andreasen happened to cut his hand with a knife on Saturday – and was forced to surgery.

– It is so annoying it can be, says Morten Olsen Association website.

The list of bizarre injuries has just become a name anymore. Hannover pro Leon Andreasen, who also appears as a defender or midfielder in the Danish national team, ran into a knife accident this weekend. On Saturday, he cut himself accidentally in your hand – with the result that he got the lightning surgery.

Now, he has a cast both the arm and hand, which means he is forced to cancel the playoff matches against Sweden in the 14th and November 17th.

Head coach Morten Olsen is anything but happy about it.

– It is so annoying it can be. We all know that Leon has had problems with injuries before and missed key games. And now he suffered an injury that is not football related. It is a pity both for him and for the team, says Olsen of the Danish Football Association website.

Morten Olsen has called up Simon Busk Poulsen replacement.
