Tingsryd shocked AIK at the Royal Court – Aftonbladet

Seven straight wins full points at home – until now.

Tingsryd shocked AIK at Hovet, won 3-2 and broke the club suite.

AIK and the home has been a successful combination initially in the Hockey Allsvenskan.

The club had lined up victories at the Royal Court and has not lost a single point.

But now super suite broken.

Surprise team Tingsryd became not only the first team to win at the Royal Court, but also invited AIK on a lesson in effective hockey.

Not even two minutes had been played when Eric Castonguay silenced the home crowd by firing the shot.

And before the first period of rest had Smålanders even made the 2-0 by Patrik Nilsson.

AIK fed after John Jönsson away bag with pucks in the middle period (17 shots), but it was Tingsryd who scored the goal – Eric Castonguay with his second hit.

But Nicklas Heinerös reduceringssmål in the run-up of the third period and Jesper Frödéns 2-3 goal with just over two minutes left created drama in the end.

AIK pressure on significantly – but Tingsryd held out.
