Hareide receive two-year contracts in Denmark – Sydsvenskan

– I have kept me updated on Danish football during my time in Malmo FF. I know the players well, he said.

Hareide has been of the Danish Football Association candidates for the job and he announced some time ago that he would leave the MFF for the last Champions League game. The Norwegian got a sad farewell to Malmö club when the MFF lost record against Real Madrid on Tuesday, 0-8.

The 62-year-old says that despite age, with a future.

– I have a lot of experience. It is about maintaining the passion. It has been my driving force as coach. When I drop it so I stop.

And the Danes need do not be anxious to have hired a Norwegian. Hareide is not Egil “Drillo” Olsen, the former Norwegian coach who was both criticized and successful with their direct football.

– I’m not “Drillo” and have never really been linked with him. There are many good qualities of the person “Drillo”, but I think enough football in a different way than he. I can not do much about that I am Norwegian, but I think I have the skills to succeed in this job, said Hareide.
