Oscar Hiljemarks and Robin Quiasons Palermo went on a brief, but heavy losses in Serie A on Monday. It became 0-1 against visiting Empoli. Palermo missed thus a chance to increase the distance to relegation – it made instead Empoli.
The winning goal came in the 58th minute through Riccardo Saponara
Oscar Hiljemark started as usual on Palermo’s midfield and passed the ball the team’s best chance to score before he was replaced in the 67th minute, but striker Alberto Gilardino hitting the crossbar. The team’s other Swedish, Robin Quiason, came in 56 minutes.
