Michael Jordan has done it. Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant as well. Yes a total of 19 basketball players had put 25,000 points or more in the NBA when on Monday night was time for LeBron James to become the youngest to reach the milestone.

When James of the Cleveland Cavaliers the victory by 107-100 away to Philadelphia 76ers with a dunk put his 22th point of the evening was his 25,001 points in his career. And he is only 30 years. Bryant was 31 and Michael Jordan 33 when they reached 25 000 points.

LeBron James, who has played 915 NBA games, however, has a way to go to all-time record. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar made 38,387 points on their 1560 NBA games. But he was in and of itself 42 years after he stepped down as James has a few years left.
