MFF goalkeeper on the move to the MFF: “Happy” – Expressen

Malmo. Fredrik Andersson was disappointed when Örgryte turned down a bid from Gefle.

Now goalie ready for the MFF.

– Everything seems to have a meaning, and in retrospect, I’m glad that they turned down says 26-year-old.

Robin Olsen sold to Paok and Zlatan Azinovic long-term damage has MFF for the past week been in search of a replacement beyond Johan Wiland already picked out.

Yesterday it became clear that Fredrik Andersson connecting from Örgryte.

– It feels somewhat incomprehensible. I called my closest childhood friends and told them that I would to Malmö. They could hardly believe it, says Andersson.

To go from one given in Örgryte to second behind Johan Wiland in the MFF is nothing to disturb the 26-year-old Andersson.

– This is a giant opportunity. A strength of me is that I’m sociable, good at supporting and push and put the team first. And to develop in this environment is inspiring.

For a long time it looked like that Andersen would end up in Gefle, not the MFF.

– That was really Örgryte turned down a bid. When I was a little annoyed when there was a chance to play in the league. Örgryte has the economic problems so I felt they could have released me, but in hindsight I’m very glad that they turned it down.

How are you as a goalkeeper?

– I try to be pretty calm and spread it to the outfield players. I’m pretty reflex fast and has good position play.

And weaknesses?

– It’s the left foot and the game with his feet. I said I had good

feet when I came to Örgryte but realized later that I had good feet for division three. Now I think that I have trained up my feet so they are good for the division one but they are well probably quite rötna when I come out here. We’ll see how they hold but it is certainly one thing I want to develop.
