U19 ladies refused celebration in Kungsan – Aftonbladet

There will be no celebration party for the U19 ladies in the Royal Garden.

However, it becomes chartered plane and courtship at Arlanda.

A month ago, the Swedish U21 lords success in the Czech Republic and won the European Championship after a dramatic penalty shootout.

The deed was followed up with a big celebration. Players met up at Bromma airport and traveled in an open bus to a festive reception in the Royal Garden.

Working for reception at Arlanda

Tonight, Sweden won gold in the U19 European Championship after winning with 3 one against Spain.

But any celebration party at the Royal Garden is not for girls.

– We have three representative team; two A-national team and a U21 national team of guys. Then we have eleven national teams of boys and girls side, where we make a difference how we woo them says Håkan Sjöstrand to Dagens Nyheter.

DN: Why do you have two representative team of men and only one with the ladies?

– We have another national team, U23, with the ladies. Where we are very far ahead, because few countries have the U23 team of ladies. The problem is that there are organized some championships for them, says Håkan Sjöstrand DN.

Celebrated by chartered plane and reception at Arlanda

After the final it was clear that the U19 ladies will fly to

Arlanda with a chartered plane which lands on Tuesday evening.

– There will be courting and receiving, says Niklas Bodell, Communications at the Swedish Football Association.
