Wojciech Szczęsny leave Arsenal to play in AS Roma next season. The clubs have agreed a loan contract that extends over the entire season.
After five seasons at Arsenal now leaving goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny club and move to Italy and AS Roma. Both clubs confirmed the move on Wednesday and it is a loan contract for a year.
Szczęsny was the first goalkeeper at Arsenal for several seasons but last season he was relegated to the bench when David Ospina took over responsibility between the posts.
For the upcoming season, Arsenal have also recruited goalkeeper Petr Čech from Chelsea which would have meant sparse playing time Szczęsny.
