Dutch national team striker Robin van Persie leave Manchester United. Turkish high club Fenerbahce announced on Saturday that it enlisted 31-year-old.
Fenerbahce stated that Van Persie is coming to Istanbul by private aircraft on Sunday. The deal with United should have been done already on Friday.
– We worked hard until midnight. We sent six faxes and received five and eventually became clear, says Fenerbahces Chairman Aziz Yildirim to two different Turkish newspapers.
Fenerbahce said to pay 4.7 million euros transfer fee. Earlier this week became the Portuguese Nani and Danish center-back Simon Kjär ready for the club. Nani from the same club that van Persie, while Kjär later played for French Lille.
He has previously played for Feyenoord and Arsenal.
