Three red cards when AIK won against Shirak – Aftonbladet

Three red cards. Two penalties. And a fraction of the ordinary.
Europa League match between AIK and Shirak were the least infected.

– I did not like the Jets followed the fair play rules, says Shiraks coach Vardan Bichakhchyan.

AIK impressed “at home” at Tele2 Arena and won the first meeting of the Europa League with a 2-0. Both goals were scored by Henok Goitom.

But it was not the result that was discussed afterwards. Instead, it was all about the scuffle on the pitch. Shirak from Armenia pulled on the entire three red cards during the last 20 minutes.

A huge brawl broke out after an hour. A player in Shirak was injured in a nod duel and AIK continued to play. Shortly thereafter shot Mohamed Bangura in the bar and immediately afterwards broke out brawl on the pitch. Shirak players were angry and pushes and pushes succeeded each other.

– I did not like the Jets followed the fair play rules. We had an injured player on the field, but AIK players tried to run 80 meters and score goals. There is a football rule that if a player is injured, you must play the ball. We follow the rules, says Vardan Bichakhchyan, coach Shirak.

Bangura misunderstood

The protagonist himself, Mohamed Bangura, counters:
– They do not even think. I do not feel sorry for them. They deserve what they got. I do not know why they were angry. I had my back against and did not understand that a player was down.

– I did not. If I had seen, I had driven fair play, but I did not know, says Bangura.
Andreas Alm on the situation:
– Henok behaved in an exemplary way and stand up for his teammates. It is not that one should fight, but it’s still about showing that it is not okay to give in even teammates.

“Is a duel sport”

After the uproar had

three players yellow cards; Mohamed Bangura, Henok Gotiom and Gor Malakyan Shirak.

But it would be even worse. During the last 20 minutes were Armenian three red cards.
– It’s a duel sport and you have to kick down people if you take the consequences. As long as my players come out of the duels and undamaged for the next match, says Andreas Alm, coaches AIK.

return leg in Armenia played next Thursday.
