Serena Williams had no trouble knocking out Maria Sjarapova in the Wimbledon semifinals.

Eleven years have passed since Maria Sjarapova, 28, seventeen year old shocked the tennis world and fine beat Serena Williams at Wimbledon. Later that year, she won over the American again but it was also the last time.

And the Russian was unable to reverse the negative trend in Thursday’s semifinals.
The 33-year-old Williams took the easy home the first set with 6-2.
