The Swede Henrik Lundqvist the NY Rangers, the American Ben Bishop in Tampa Bay and Canadian Corey Crawford in Chicago’s most renowned goalkeepers who plays on in the Stanley Cup playoffs.
But the hottest of all – it is the Dane Frederik Andersen in Anaheim.

The match was played at the United Center in Chicago and the victory means that Anaheim again took over the home advantage and leads match series 2-1 in a best of seven.
Lindholm’s shot gave 1-0
Even Corey Crawford in Chicago-cage accounted for a very good effort and saved 25 of 27 shots.
But three pucks found behind the two big gambling goalkeepers.
The first goal came after just 13 minutes of play. Anaheim Swedish reverse Hampus Lindholm’s shot in the power play was ruled out by Patrick Maroon stand a chance of Crawford. Chicago leveling the score to 1-1 at the end of the period, the team’s biggest star Patrick Kane.
At the end of the second period came the goal that proved to be decisive. Simon Despres put the puck after a fine forward play of Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf thus produced his 14th assists in the playoffs – by far the most of all.
Despite a sometimes intense pressure in the third period and especially in games six against five during the final minutes
Above all, the game short-handed a key to the victory for Anaheim. Chicago had five PP modes in the game.
– Yeah, we tightened ourselves in box play. We were not happy with the last game. It was great for the team to come back after a tough loss in which we conceded two goals in box play. We wanted to be better today, says Frederik Andersen of AP.
Thus Andersen took his tenth win in the playoffs and now has a save percentage of 93.5 – better than all remaining goaltenders. Henrik Lundqvist stands at 92.6 and Ben Bishop and Corey Crawford of 92.5.
Success in Frölunda 2011/12
Frederik Andersen also has experience in Sweden.
After the junior years and a couple of the season in the Danish top league got Frolunda eyes to him in 2011.
In Sweden, he made a success. He was noted for the best save percentage (94.3) in SHL 2011/12, which in turn led to Anaheim gave him a chance in the organization. After a season in the AHL team Norfolk Admirals, Andersen has step by step taken over as the first goalkeeper in Ducks.
Now the 25-year-old about to enroll in the history books further – he can become first Dane to win the Stanley Cup.
