Halmstads BK had worked his way back after 0-1 underdog against IFK Gothenburg.

But in stoppage time wanted HBK more.

The team got a corner and moved up people.

It punished him.

IFK gratefully accepted counterattack chance that emerged and won 2-1.

– They should have studied a little better maybe. It is not the first time we score after a corner against us, so to speak, says goalkeeper John Alvbåge.

– It was a long high point as Sebastian Eriksson nodding away. Then go the ball to Emil who only stand, says goalkeeper John Alvbåge.

“It was nice”

Emil Salomonsson found Jakob Ankersen centrally. And despite the fact that three HBK player could be facing correctly when Ankersen touched the ball became the target of the shot from the Dane.

Among HBK’s players prevailed different views on how the team should be handled the situation. There were discussions about a short corner.

But something everybody agreed was that the effort was not good.

– It was bad. It

is basic to not let such a goal at the end. I think that the right still trying, some are talking about taking a short corner and stay in, but we should not put all so that it is wrong. We must win the second ball anyway, now it all wrong, says James Keene did HBK’s equalizing goal.

“So damn sad”

– It feels like we can wait so long corner that it will be exhausted after it. It’s so damn boring, I do not know how the hell it can happen. It’s heavy, very sad right now, says midfielder Eric Smith.

It was a very smooth IFK Gothenburg however that celebrated the victory as it echoed in the corridors of Örjans Vallarta.

But it was also worn several players. The coach Jörgen Lennartsson had plans to replace Jakob Ankersen but he was allowed to stay.

– I was tired, it was no doubt. But I’m happy with the first two goals in the headlines. I really want to score goals. I would wait nine or ten games was not good for me. But I’ve worked hard and I am pleased that I took the chance today, he said.

The first goal came after a cross from Emil Salomonsson. The ball was covered by Fredrik Liverstam, but Jakob Ankersen dug it.
