No contests for Green this year – Vasterbotten Courier

It’s been going on for a while, but now high jumper Emma Green decided to give up racing season. She said earlier this spring that the herniated disc has problems with rump and she probably would not be able to get to the World Cup.

In her blog, she writes that it feels good to let your body a chance to recover itself. Instead, she is aiming towards what is likely to be career ultimate goal, the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro next year.

“I really want to try to give myself the best chance

to perform at the Olympics next summer and this feels like right way, “she writes on the blog.
