Magic Tonight won the Elite race 2015th

Swedish Took star horse won a record level races – but was close to go there.

– I made a mistake in the last turn, but thankfully it was enough, says victorious driver Örjan Kihlström.

The Elite race in 2015 was unusually smooth and dramatically. Örjan Kihlström took easily the lead from the start with Magic Tonight and kept a steady and fast pace all the way. Mosaique Face ended early death. Nuncio got a disastrously bad race and hung in the third track all the way.

– It felt really good in the last turn, I felt like I was sitting on the deck and did not let go the Royal Fighter, but it was a miss, I relented a little. The stretch it was a little difficult to get started him again, but thankfully it was enough, says Örjan Kihlström.

Magic Tonight owned by financier Lennart Ågren annually invests millions of dollars on his horse ownership. Now, he received hefty bonuses.

The victory in Elitloppt was worth three million and the winning time was 1.10,1.
