Sweden won a wet dress rehearsal against Holland – Expressen

Sweden did not impress against Holland.

But the national team must nevertheless brought a 2-1 victory from the World Cup dress rehearsal – a match that was marred by a åskavbrott.

Lotta Schelin and Kosovare Asllani did Sweden’s goals.

– I think that in the second half shows that it is we who decide on the plan, says Pia Sundhage in TV12.

Pia Sundhages national team won the World Cup dress rehearsal against Holland 2-1 after goals by kosovare asllani and Lotta Schelin.

But it was the Dutch hands who struck first. Swedish acquaintance Manon Melis struck on a return from Hedvig Lindahl in the 43rd minute and shaved the 1-0 goal.

Halftime score was forced Sweden in addition to replace Emma Berglund, who is thought of as starting center back together with Nilla Fischer during the World Cup. Berglund had problems with a thigh.

In the second half it was notorious måltjuven Lotta Schelin, who equalized for Sweden. In the 53 minute player she is free, won a motlägg with the Dutch goalkeeper Loes Guerts, and put safely into 1-1.

kosovare asllani then shot 2-1 through a strange shot that Guerts seemed to believe would go off target.

– It is typical Kosse. It may be a little annoyed at her, but as

she hits, says Pia Sundhage in TV12.

Shortly after Asllanis goal broke the game because of a thunderstorm – and it took a good half hour before the players were back on the pitch, and the match could draw in time.

There were no more goals in the match. Next game for the national team’s World Cup premiere on June 8 against Nigeria.

– I think that in the second half shows that it is we who decide on the plan. We’ve talked about how important it is defending – in this game, slamming it and we have a team that wants to go into the rough. It is a good sign, said Sundhage.

TV4′s experts were not as happy as coach – but still gave praise to the team:

– I understand that she is merry, compared with how it looked in April. And I understand that she has to pump up the positive, it is her job, says Olof Lundh in TV12.

– I feel that it is heading in the right direction. But one must continue, particularly with defense game and to get to it fast clearance gap in depth, says Hanna Marklund.
