Swedes behind Anaheim’s victory – Aftonbladet

It was the Swedish ducks that lowered the Chicago Blackhawks in the first conference finals in the West.

Jakob Silfverberg and Hampus Lindholm was both respective objectives and respective assists.

– It’s nice to get paid directly, but as a team, I think actually that we can play even better than today, says Jakob Sportbladet after 4-1- victory.

Yes, Anaheim acquired quickly command when the Western Conference finals opened the Honda Center last night. They won with 4-1 and said:

Two blue and yellow ducks contributed significantly.

An exquisite fit

In the middle of the first period hit Jakob Silfverberg an exquisite pass to a trailing Hampus Lindholm up at the blue line and he dotted very neat 1-0.

Since Lindholm was also assistant to Nate Thompson 3-1 goals – and just in ending warred Silfverberg the fourth goal in the empty bag.

– It continues to feel good for my part, I have great confidence now, especially as I get to play so much, and it’s nice to get paid directly, saying ” Jacke “when we reach him on the phone an hour after the final whistle.

– Hampus And, yes, I think he’s our best defensemen. He is so incredibly calm and never panic. I think

that is his greatest strength. Whatever happens, he must not panic but take the right kind of decisions.

Silfverberg is equally impressed by the Danish goalkeeper Frederik Andersen, who stopped 26 shots in the night.

“Amazing keeper”

– There is talk not so much about “Freddie,” but he is a fantastic goalkeeper. And that is equal to him, he is so incredibly calm all the time. It gives us tremendous security.

Even the night to Wednesday awaiting new match – and Jacob believe that Anaheim can rise further then.

– We played very well defensively in this game. Chicago had a lot of puck and shot more than us, but we saw the whole time that they had to do it from the outside. Then we took the advantage of the chances we got, he says.

– But I think we can be better offensively and be sure to have the puck more in their zone.
