The list: Here are the suspects in Fifa leaders – Swedish Radio

The study is a setback for FIFA’s longtime and controversial president Sepp Blatter, although he was not among the suspects. He expected on Friday be re-elected for a new period Fifa boss.

The New York Times has published the names of the nine FIFA members who now become the subject of court cases in the United States.

Among those arrested, to be requested extradited to the United States, is Jeffrey Webb of the Cayman Islands, one of FIFA’s vice chairman. Another is Eugenio Figueredo, Uruguay, also vice chairman of FIFA and former chairman of the South American Football Confederation. A third suspect is Jack Warner, of Trinidad and Tobago. He was previously a member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Concacaf, football federation for North and Central America and the Caribbean. He has previously been accused of a series of ethical violations and corruption in football.

The other names on the list: Julio Rocha, Costas Takkas, Rafael Esquivel, José Maria Marin, Nicolas Leoz.

In

addition to the nine names directly linked to FIFA are five people from different Rights and Media companies should have paid out money to FIFA delegates in different contexts on the list of suspects.

Request for arrest and extradition comes directly from the US Department of Justice and its department in Brooklyn in New York, which had investigated the rumors and accusations for decades revolved around Fifa, which deals with highly serious crimes such as extortion, bribery, fraud and money laundering.
