Anton Blidh leave Frölunda Indians for the Boston Bruins next season. 20-year-old has signed for three years.
It was after the JVM as Boston got in touch and said they were interested.
After the season got Blidh a new call with the message: We want you.
– I thought a lot and talked with my parents and agent. I like it’s so good in Frölunda, but felt that my style of play suits for small rinks. And to play in the NHL is my biggest dream, which I worked hard, says 20-year-old to Frölunda’s website.
“Should not budge me down”
Blidh know what expected of him.
– I should be there and run and not budge me down. My goal is to beat me in Boston, he said.

Boston Bruins European scout Per-Johan “Pebben” Axelsson explains to Frölunda’s website why NHL club decided to sign a contract with Anton Blidh now:
– He has the right qualities and he works hard. We have mainly stuck to his game in short-handed.
