Joy announcement: may compete for Sweden – Gothenburg Post

Now it is clear. Sprinter Sulayman Bah, to represent Sweden.

– It feels good. I’m ready, he says to the GP.

The Gambia-born sprinter came to Sweden in autumn 2011 and received citizenship earlier this spring.

But to compete for their new homeland has Sulayman Bah not got to do – until now.

– Very nice. He felt bad about this, says coach Anders Palmqvist to GP.

The 29-year-old Bah had a breakthrough a month ago.

During a race in Skara noted he time 10.22 in the 100 meters.

Only two men have run faster over the distance in the Swedish athletics history.

Bahs first race in the blue and yellow link can be together with the relay team in the 4×100 meters in Stockholm Bauhaus Althletics (formerly DN Galan) July 30th.

Bah lives in Gothenburg and compete for the Ullevi Stadium FK.
