MFF strongest in classic meeting – Swedish Radio

Malmo Champions League genrepade defeating Norrkoping 3-0.

Radiosporten Andreas Matz appoints MVP of both teams:
Malmo: Markus Rosenberg.
Norrkoping: Christopher Nilsson Telo.

Malmo so would this be a dress rehearsal for the Champions League qualifier against Salzburg next week. If scouts from the Austrian big club was in place so they can not have any fright in the first half.

For the first 45 minutes was test Andes, trevandes and reached no height either in intensity or tempo. The thing that stuck out was a scrimmage in the 28th minute that resulted in Norrköping Emir Kujovic had to call the red card.

But, Malmö had difficulty utilizing the numerical upper hand while Norrkoping still showed courage, and 0-0 at half time was appealing.

– There was much carelessness and poor communication. We did not start it, said Malmo Emil Forsberg then.

In the second half, so raised Malmo speed things up, and got on with half an hour left for the first time to a proper pressure. And it paid off.

Emil Forsberg sat in the 65th minute 1-0 after being framklackad of Markus Rosenberg, and two minutes later, Forsberg played forward Isaac Kiese-Thelin and 2-0 was a fact.

After beating the MFF on the pace again , a decimated Norrköping had difficulty creating something forward, and with five minutes left could center-back Philippe Helandar determine the end result of 3 0 when he shaved into a corner return.

– It is a difficult task to get to this stage, and when you get to play with ten men does not make it easier. We stand up well in the first half, then we tried to fight but a good individual performance led 1-0 and then Belvedere heavier, summed Norrköping goalkeeper David Mitov Nilsson.

Any Austrian scouts probably was not particularly overwhelmed by the last 45 minutes play either. But warned of a team that is currently doing what is required of them, and who can score three goals without big play.

– Confidence-wise it was important. We did not really start in the first half, we tend to be tough then, but then came running in and scored three good goals, summed Emil Forsberg.
